Peshawar: A police officer says a bomb has killed 11 people at a funeral in northwest Pakistan.
Abid Rehman said the bomb on Sunday was apparently targeting a local politician who had been critical of Islamist militants in the region. The politician, Khushdil Khan, escaped unhurt.
Mr Rehman said around 30 people were wounded in the blast on the outskirts of Peshawar, the main city in northwest Pakistan.
