Police say the girl, a sixth grade student was a resident of Mumbra Devi colony and was returning home last evening when the accused, Bhagarsingh Rathod, abducted her and then sexually abused her at a lonely place.
He later killed her and dumped her body in a gunny bag and left it outside a house, police said.
The police have registered offences under sections 363, 376, 302, 201 of the IPC against the alleged accused and a hunt is on for him.
