You think the Kentucky Derby is about horses? Psh. We tune in to see thereal star of the race — the hats. Every year at the Derby, Hollywood's brightest stars put on their Sunday's best, which, of course, comes complete with a wacky hat. 

Unfortunately, sometimes a celebrity's choice in attire can go terribly wrong, and, unfortunately, that's exactly what befell these eight stars. Hey, down enough Mint Juleps and these looks may start to work, right?

 

'HONEY BOO BOO' PARENTS MAMA JUNE AND SUGAR BEAR: JUST MARRIED?

Is a Here Comes Honey Boo Boo wedding in our television future? Perhaps, as two of the TLC series' stars — coupon queen/matriarchMama June Shannon and daddio to Alana "Honey Boo Boo/Smoochie" Thompson, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson — have either gotten married, recommitted themselves to each other, or just had a fancy Cinco de Mayo love ceremony/BBQ, depending on who you ask on the Internet.

I mean, the whole fiesta sure did have the trappings of a wedding-type ceremony: there were vows exchanged, a cake, the company of good friends and family, and even an oh-so elegant a camouflage gown to round out the day. According to People, the duo are mums the word as to what the party was all about, but the ever-vigilant sleuths at TMZhave obtained what they allege to be an invitation to the big day, touted as a wedding and also a "taped event," signaling that it won't be long before we see this family fart their way towards wedded bliss. No word as to whether or not the family's staple meal, Sketti, was served.

The couple have been together for nine years, after they met in an online chat room, because of course they did. Regardless, mazels all around for quite possibly the happiest/most loving family in America. Just a word to the wse: maybe don't wear that camo gown around a bunch of potentially drunk hunter types after dark. You're just asking for trouble, then, June.

JADEN SMITH HAS TINY BABY LEGS AT THE 'AFTER EARTH' TOKYO PREMIERE

Normally, we're not fans of making fun of children. But when you are 14 years old, best friends with Justin Bieber, and wear crazy harem pants that make your regular-sized legs look itsy-bitsy to a major international premiere of a movie in which you star, you are pretty much asking for it. 

Jaden Smith, those pants make it look like you have baby legs.

Which is probably why his daddy Will Smith is laughing so hard in the above photo. He's all, "Haha, son, you're not going to like the way those pants look on the Internet."

A word of advice: When you have skinny legs — which, let's face it, most 14 year old boys do — a straight-legged trouser is your best friend.

SLAYER GUITARIST JEFF HANNEMAN DEAD AT 49

Jeff Hanneman — lead guitarist for the thrash metal band Slayer — has passed away from liver failure at the age of 49.

The band’s publicist released a statement following Hanneman’s death: “Slayer is devastated to inform that their bandmate and brother, Jeff Hanneman, passed away at about 11AM this morning near his Southern California home. He was 49. Hanneman was in an area hospital when he suffered liver failure... and will be sorely missed."

Back in 2011, the guitarist ended up in the hospital after he was bitten by a spider and nearly lost his arm from the bite. Hanneman fell seriously ill and was placed in a medically induced coma and underwent several operations to remove the dead and dying tissue from his arm. As a result, Hanneman was pulled out of Slayer’s 2012 tour dates.

Hanneman co-founded Slayer with Kerry King back in 1981 and their first breakthrough came five years later in 1986 with the release of landmark album Reign in Blood.
